The Adventure Zone is a podcast by the McElroy Brothers and their dad, originally planned as a one-off special episode of their other podcast My Brother, My Brother And Me but then expanded into its own thing. The premise is so simple: The two older brothers and their dad play D&D while the younger brother, Griffin, is the Dungeon Master. Since most of them are pretty new to D&D, they start out with the beginner’s daventure from the 5th Edition Starter Kit, but it doesn’t take long until Griffin starts not only building his own story, but his own world (though still based on the D&D setting of Faerun, just with more elevators and moonbases).
The three heroes of the campaign (or “Tres Horny Boys”, as they call themselves) are:
Magnus Burnsides, the human carpenter-turned-warrior who later learns some rogue skills and becomes a “Ruff Boi.” He always puts other people’s safety before his own. He’s a protector. He’s played by Travis, the “middlest” brother.
Merle Hightower Highchurch, the dwarven cleric of Pan, the god of nature. He’s pretty laid-back, some might say irreverent. But he is able to play peacekeeper among the group and occasionally finds non-violent ways to solve their problems. Usually by casting ZONE OF TRUTH! He’s played by Clint, the boys’ dad.
Taako Tacco, you know, from TV? He’s and elven wizard specializing in the school of transmutation. He’s also a great cook, and even had a touring cooking show called “Sizzle It Up With Taako!” He’s played by Justin, the oldest brother.
The show clearly has lots of comedic elements. I don’t think you can make a show about playing a Tabletop RPG without comedy eventually cropping up, especially not with these four. But Griffin (and the other three too, honestly) is such a great storyteller that he manages to eventually turn this high fantasy story about three guys killing and looting people and making boner jokes into an amazingly woven, epic, and at times immensely tragic tale. With boner jokes.

In fact, any kid or teen 18 and under can eat for free at designated summer meals sites across the country. But too many families don’t know about or don’t take advantage of the program.
Find summer meals in your community. And use these tools to let people know they’re available.

What kind of lifestyle would each sign prefer?
- Aries: would be prefer a life where their actions have the most gentle of consequences, where their dreams are in reach and each new day sparks a new adventure. But also one at the end of the day they can turn in to a relaxing night and a comfy bed, content with the little things, and maybe someone next to them.
- Gemini: would prefer a life where they can do as they please and not be judged for it. Where they can be a scientist one day and an actor the next. A life they actually feel a part of instead of just an observer.
- Taurus: would prefer a life where their worries always work themselves out, with minimal effort. They have simple wants, needs, and pleasures, if only their problems could be handled the same. They want a life where their important things are close, and can fall asleep with a smile on their face.
- Cancer: would prefer a life that they can operate from home. Not that they won’t want to go out and do things as well, in fact they would!
